Cloudmark anti spam program

Cloudmark is one of the many anti-spam programs that is our there for us homeusers.
This program is a ordinary software which you will have to pay to use.
The subscription is atleast 30-40 dollars / year.

So how does Cloudmark work?
Cloudmark is a software that is installed and works together with Microsoft Outlook and/or Outlook express.
Cloudmark takes a fingerprint or hashsum of the incoming e-mails, this is sent to the Cloudmark network and there this hashsum is checked against known spam emails.
If this e-mails is recognized on the network as beeing a spam then Cloudmark will check this e-mails as a spam in our mailprogram.

The method which they are using is called DCC.
